My toddler and I attended a Thursday Discover Ducks Museum, snow as a theme. We both had an amazing time doing arts and crafts, playing with toys and listening to the story. The staff are polite and friendly. Lovely conversation with Dara/Tara - sorry for misspelling =[ A nice day out away from where we live. Will come again =]

Small (as expected) but extremely well laid out and surprisingly interesting collection of artefact. Loved seeing the various collections they had and was enjoyed the fun way it was designed, with wall art, different features for different collections, including some interactive pieces. I was impressed to see that they actually cater to neurodiverse children (and adults if inclined) including sensory backpacks to make the experience more enjoyable and less overwhelming. It was a small detail that showed an unexpected level of care. Entry price <£7 (as of Jan 2025) and they have a cute coffee shop and a small gift shop. Parking is limited and on street (pay and display - Note the signs as a lot of "resident only" parking in the area). Definitely worth checking out, regardless of age.

What a lovely museum. Particularly enjoyed the geological collection with finds from College Lake. The archaeological collection was also vast and interesting. Thanks.

I used to love this place. I have some super nostalgia whenever I walk past from when I was a kid and going here for school trips. Recently they refurbished it and are now charging for entry, which is honestly a joke. it's owned by Bucks Archaeological Society, a charity, who charge Buckinghamshire Council a peppercorn rent to run it. It should be free!

Lovely little gem of a local museum. The main galleries are excellent for a brief foray into archaeology and the natural world. The Roald Dahl side museum is such fun with lots of interactive elements, plenty to keep you busy whilst engaging with underlying learning.

We visited the museum for the Halloween Trail which was utterly delightful. The staff / volunteers were amazing and the effort they put in made it so much fun for the kids. Given the extortionate price for other local Halloween activities, this was amazing value for money and one of the best days out we've had. I've already recommended Bucks Museum to loads of friends and we will definitely be back for future events.

Great local museum with an amazing new collection of archaeological finds, local history and paintings. Regular exhibitions in the upstairs gallery, currently Star Wars toys. The building itself has a rich history too.

What a gem of a place! Fantastic for all the family. My daughter (7) loved the Roald Dahl galleries, my son (12) was fascinated by the fossils and ancient artefacts in the main galleries and my husband absolutely loved the Star Wars toys exhibition - we spent 2 hours here and could have spent longer. The sensory room for little ones is great. We all enjoyed looking at the Tudor house and playing the old games. Absolutely recommend. Kids got in free with their blue Peter badges too!

The museum is great! The website is rubbish so please make sure that you book what you want to go and see. Eg. The roald dahl museum (which is fabulous and so interactive) or the toy museum.

This is a lovely little museum. We’ve been multiple times and they often have some great on for kids in addition to the regular exhibits. Staff are friendly and you can park a 5 min walk away at the Odeon cinema car park. The Roald Dahl bit next door is great too!

We went to the museum for easter activities and found them very calming esp with young children. On a windy day, we spent almost 4 hours inside the cosy museum, and it is a win for any parent.
